Formal Dinner & Clan Photo at the Albert Hall, Station Square, Ballater.
Come and dine in these grand surroundings. A piper will be playing and will pipe in our Chief and Madame Farquharson before dinner. The Annual Clan Photograph will be taken before the dinner. Black tie / Lounge Suits. This will be a three course meal as detailed on the separate sheet. Wine is included and will be served on arrival and flowing with dinner. |

Historical Farquharson Tour and Glenfiddich Distillery Lunch
This will be a coach trip up to Tomintoul and through the Glenlivet Estate taking in various famous Farquharson sites. We will be having a lunch of soup, sandwiches and tea or coffee at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown and then a tour of the working site. This tour is considered to be about the best of all the Distilleries and is finished with a nip of the strong stuff itself.
The scenery en-route is spectacular and we will be driving down the breathtaking Glen Shee road. |

Visit the Highland Games in Ballater. Our Chief is Games Patron and Chieftain. There will be an informal buffet lunch in the Clan Tent.
Clan Farquharson march through Ballater with the Piped Band parade at Noon from the bridge over the Dee. Due to the formality and occasion of the event only Clan members in Highland Dress will be able to join the parade. |

Thursday 14th

Ceilidh & Dance. The evening is not related to our events but is great fun. The Pipers play on the green after the games for a few hours and then in the Albert and Victoria Halls the games ‘dance and knees up’ takes place. This is a good evening if you have the energy left and really gives you a feel of the spirit of the Highlands.

Be welcomed by a lone Piper. Coffee and shortbread will be served.

Visit to the Clan Farquharson Cairn. This is just past Balmoral Castle going west to Braemar. 15 Minutes drive from Ballater.
Join the Chief and a Piper for reflection and a prayer for those Farquharsons who died in Battle. Bring suitable footwear for this walk along the fields by the Dee. |
